From the minute you see her you know that Laura Evans, creator of Pinki B. Handbags, is not your average gal. The fuchsia highlights in her short and sassy hair match perfectly with her faux fur bag. There's nothing subtle about either her or her designs.

With more than a decade experience in the fashion industry Ms. Evans turned her creative eye to handbag design full time in 2002, creating her Pinki B. Handbags collection. Selling first through word of mouth, Evans moved onto the world wide web and into a number of boutiques. She is now gaining a foothold in markets outside the Tampa Bay area and plans to become a household name in designer markets.

"Pinki B. is about individuality," says Evans. "I simply don't want to carry the same handbag as everyone else. I enjoy beautiful, unique things and I love sharing my artistic visions with other people."

Her designs utilize everything from black silk with crystals strung to create handles to her rugged western inspired messenger bags. Though you certainly can find a number of eye catching pink conceptions, Evans' line is not limited by its name. Colors abound in the everyday section of her shop, while black and white is the focus of her more formal line. One note, handbags are made to order so plan ahead when picking a bag for a special occasion. Most orders will take two to three weeks for delivery. Just like most good things, these are worth the wait!
